Getting books is hard on the wallet and keeping track of all of those titles can be a huge hassle. Here’s a list of resources for book bloggers of every level.
Storygraph
Storygraph is a great alternative to GoodReads. You can review your books and add them to lists as usual but there is an added bonus of Storygraphs tracking system. It will keep track of the mood and pace of the books you’re reading to help you pick books that fit your reading styles (very helpful as a reviewer cause we obviously want to talk about books we love).
Hoopla & Libby by Overdrive
Hoopla and Libby both connect to your local library system to get you digital copies of awesome books. Hoopla also has movies and TV shows so you can find your favorite movies based on books.
Kindle App
Maybe you have a tablet, maybe you just have a phone, but the Kindle app is great because you can still read those digital ARCs on your favorite devices.
A Notebook
It seems so simple right? But having a space to write your thoughts and favorite quotes will make writing those reviews and lists that much easier.
What are some of your favorite resources?

Great post! I would like add the apps Fable and Hardback to your list. They’re both alternatives to Goodreads and have some real potential as bookish social media.

Oh, I just started using Fable! And I haven’t tried Hardback yet but I’m going to go check it out right now.
